Hey, I’m Reko.

I’m a photographer, diver, dad, and lifelong observer of people.

For years, I noticed the same thing: the photos people love the most aren’t the overly posed ones. They’re the in-between moments—the way your kid leans into you when they laugh, the way you light up when you talk about your work, the way a city looks right before the sun drops.

I built Reko Ponton Photography to give you more of those moments on purpose.

Whether we’re shooting in downtown Nashville, a quiet corner of Franklin, or on a rooftop at sunset, my role is simple:

  • Make you feel comfortable

  • Give you clear direction

  • Capture the way your life actually feels right now

I’m here for people who want photos that are bold, honest, and a little adventurous—without turning the whole thing into a production.

What to expect while working together

  • Before your session

    We start with a quick call so I understand what you need (brand, family, headshots, or events).

    We choose locations that fit your vibe—urban, nature, studio, or at home.

    I’ll send you simple guidance on what to wear and how to prep. Nothing complicated, just “this will make your life easier.”

  • During your session

    I’ll give you prompts and direction so you’re never wondering what to do.

    We’ll move, talk, laugh, and take breaks—especially if kids are involved.

    My goal: you leave saying, “That was actually fun,” not “Glad that’s over.

  • After your session

    Within 48–72 hours, you’ll receive an online gallery with a curated set of images.

    You can download, share, and print straight from the gallery.

    If you want wall art, albums, or framed prints, I’ll walk you through options so you’re not staring at a blank wall wondering what size to order.
